blogging!
I love blogging! I could never keep a diary but there's something wonderful and completely addictive about posting blogs. It's the ideal medium for someone who loves photography as you can post your latest and favourite pictures. I started my first blog "Picture It Blog" two years ago. It's a mixture of business and pleasure - fun experiences with my family and great shoots with clients. I don't know who reads it apart from me and husband, although occasionally someone will comment that they enjoyed my little rant on school holidays or kids birthdays. I write it for fun, for nostalgia (I love looking back at old posts) and also to help you feel that you know me a little before I come and photograph your family.
I have since added two new blogs. The first is "Picture It Better" where I post top tips on taking better photographs. I try to make it topical and relevant to the time of year.
My other blog was born out of a desire to indulge in a favourite type of photography - flowers, plants and gardens. Since turning "pro" I've had less time to do this and needed an impetus. So I set myself the challenge of photographing as many of Cheshire's Gardens of Distinction as possible and keeping a blog about them "Picture It In the Garden". I'm now writing this blog for Cheshire Life, adding in photo tips along the way. Visit Cheshire Life's Blogs to read my latest post.
